REVERSE DISCRIMINATION

When I was in college, a middle aged woman attending college jumped into a conversation with me about AGE DISCRIMATION.  She talked about this because she was a middle aged woman attending COLLEGE.

I remember that now because I’ve suffered through a few younger bosses and see the AGE FACTOR at play in the workplace.

But I was also discriminated when I was YOUNG.

Who hasn’t heard “you’re too young…you are wet behind the ears…not enough experience, etc…” …so if you are discriminated because you are OLD maybe it’s because DISCRIMINATION is part of the human process of elimination. Karma’s a bitch.

To be ‘discriminating’ is supposed to be a virtue. It is the ability to distinguish between right and wrong, good and evil, and choose the superior path.

In the Obama versus McCain (Or McPain) contest, there is overt bias since one is Black and one is White and this election will show if the Great White Father of God fearing America is still in power. I’m not so sure.

To be colorblind is one thing, but to persecute people for being old is pretty funny. I mean isn’t the point of life to grow old?

Sure, we all know Grandma is ‘out of it,’ and we can see the addled brains of the Senior set everywhere, but it seems to me, that most of the country, government, business, and money is controlled by OLD PEOPLE.

I think age is an attitude, but I also recognized that people need to update themselves as they age, to be on the beam, and keep learning, so as not to become a crabby old shithead.

You can see people who’s lifestyle will lead them to a DARK OLD AGE where they will not be healthy, they will not be smart, or ‘with it,’ or of use to anyone, and of course, be a ‘burden on society.’

Now, another area of discrimination is FAT and SKINNY. The Skinny Bitch and the Fat bitch had a race and guess who won?

Okay, the Fat bitch ate the skinny bitch, but that’s just cannibalism, so since obesity is a WIDEspread problem and some kabillions of people are FAT, especially in the land of the free, the issue here is simply one of identification.

While political analysts try to decipher the voting blocs, one thing is sure. People always vote for people who are ‘like them,’ or with whom they identify.

The age old question of celebrity is answered this way as in Why Are They FAMOUS?

Oprah would be just another talk shot host if she were not fat. Believe me, fat chicks rule, because other fat chicks love them. Look at Star Jones. She got skinny and pffft went her career.

One guy asked what has Tom Hanks got? Well, he’s absolutely ORDINARY. He’s not studly handsome, buff, or special, but he’s EVERYMAN.

So, do people identify with McCain or Obama?

I’m telling you, I think the Asians, the Latinos, the Indians, will go with Obama, and The Bush monkeys* will vote for McCain, so it will be an extremely tight race and really divide the county between the Whiteys and the rest of us, which unfortunately, includes a lot of White people.

A lot of White people stopped identifying with WHITEYS because they cannot tolerate the bigotry. It smacks of Hitler’s Final Solution where only blue eyed white blondes can rule, and of course, they do, as do Tall People.

The disenfranchised White people are the segment of people who feel people are the same everywhere; they eat, shit, and sleep, just like everybody else. They see the internal essence or soul of their fellow being, even if it godly or godless.

Bush Monkeys is a totally derogatory term, but the meaning is clear. They are the Blind FAITH followers of the GOP, WAR, and Wall Street, and go blindly into the future, hoping poor people will just die off.  They are cowboys who love guns, hate homos, and fear Blacks. (And Browns, and Muslims)

They have incredible fear, and that’s the point. They are too afraid of change and feel that if they hold everybody back, then we will be safe from all the godless evil in the world, and Muslims.  But, they are wrong; the only constant is change, and unfortunately, less and less people are LIKE them.

So who do you identify with?

Yeah, me, too…but I’m from outer space.
